ACERT 2007 Workshop

Analysis of ESR Data for Motional Dynamics

As the fourth in its ongoing series of instructive sessions on modern ESR, ACERT held a workshop on “Analysis of ESR Data for Motional Dynamics” in November of 2007. The workshop included a cross-section of contemporary practical computational techniques and hands-on experience for participants who wished to explore what advantages advanced ESR/EPR  spectroscopy methods can offer for studying biological and other systems. The main lectures included "Motional Dynamics by ESR and the Stochastic Liouville Equation" by Dr. Jack H. Freed, "Can Molecular Dynamics Simulations Aid the Interpretation of ESR Spectra" by Dr. Deniz Sezer, "Full Sc- Analysis of 2D-ELDOR" by Dr. Yun-Wei Chiang, "Supermatrix Operation Algorithms for Unified Analysis of Spectroscopy and Relaxation Data" by Dr. Danuta Kruk, "HFHF ESR and Multifrequency Analysis" by Dr. Keith A. Earle, "Integrated Approach to Modeling ESR Observables" by Dr. Antonio Polimeno, "ACERT’s Nonlinear Least-Squares Fitting of SRLS with Site Exchange package” by Dr. Zhichun Liang, "Pattern-matching algorithms for automated symbolic processing of relaxation theory equations" by Dr. Ilya Kuprov, "EasySpin as a Tool for Spectral Simulations in EPR" by Dr. Stefan Stoll, "Statistical Inference of Parameters from Least-Squares Fitting of Slow-Motional EPR Spectra" by Dr. David Budil.
